The main activity of “Pop the Social Media Bubble” project was to foster quality youth work through supporting accessible and innovative practices to encourage youth workers to understand the social media world and improve their capacity on digital youth work. Its aim was to lay the groundwork for extending and promoting the use of social media and other digital media tools in digital youth work for youth organisations on the recognition and promotion of non‐formal education, volunteerism and youth work in order to empower civil society.Planned activities were based on active participation and non-formal education, methods such as focus group, brainstorming, simulation, role games with the aim to facilitate group dynamics, learning and sharing of best practices.

For the dissemination of the program several activities took place, such as appointments with community stakeholders, seminars, meetings and an informative outdoors event.
